Where are all my dog lovers!?!?!
If you could put two of my favorite things together, it would be photography and puppies! I tried to make a puppy photoshoot happen last year, but things never fell into place. This year was the complete opposite! One of my spokesmodel Mom’s reached out to me because I must have mentioned to her months ago that I would love to do a puppy shoot. She said that her friend had just gone to a shelter that hosts puppy parties. How I’ve never heard of this, I.DON’T.KNOW! In a matter of seconds, I messaged the shelter to see if they would let us take photos with their puppies. They agreed and said a volunteer would be reaching out to me. Little did I know that volunteer works at the SAME school as me!! It was just meant to be! Not only that, but they just happen to have over 20 puppies available!
The timing was perfect because I had always loved the idea of having a Valentine themed puppy shoot and that’s exactly what we did! I brought all of my studio equipment to the Old Dominion Humane Society and we got to play with puppies all afternoon and I am proud to say none of us left with any puppies. 😂
This was the best experience for me and my spokesmodel team and I loved being able to give the puppies some socialization time and donate some towels and treats to the shelter. I will definitely be doing this again in the future! If you live in the Northern Virginia area and are looking to adopt a puppy or dog, Old Dominion Humane Society is the place to go!
Enjoy gushing over all of the cute puppies from our Puppy Love Valentine Shoot!
